These serviced and upgraded stereo amplifiers are virtually like new amplifiers with all-new high quality electronic components throughout
to the original Quad 303 schematic. The only electronic part we retain is the very reliable Quad 3O3 mains transformer. The front panel is
new with IEC switched, fused, mains inlet and pairs of gold plated RCA signal inlets and 4mm gold plated binding post loudspeaker outlets.
The case and chassis are original and in excellent condition.
The high performance upgrade (HPUG) version has an original 303 case in very good condition and all-new electronics apart from the
original mains transformer like the 303FCR above. That is where the similarity ends. The circuitry and PCBs use a fully complimentary
circuit developed by Amplabs offering high performance, an excellent sound stage, low distortion and anti-surge mains on-off protection for
your loudspeakers. Over the years many enthusiasts who love the look and feel of their 303 asked if the old deteriorating electronics could
be upgraded and enhanced, and this is exactly what we did. If you have excellent quality music sources, this version really brings out the
sound stage.
