WE REPAIR/REFURBISH MOST POWER

This now includes FREE return courier charges and 6 months warranty!
Our standard service includes PAT test, troubleshooting, replacement of
faulty and out-of-tolerance components, (resistors, capacitors, transistors, diode rectifiers,
standard ICs), full performance check,
soak test and labour. There are no hidden extra
charges for our standard service! We can quote you for modification work such as new sockets,
transformer replacement, etc.,
to total redesign work.
You can drop off your your amplifier to our workshops or send
via courier which ever option is most convenient to you.
To send your equipment via courier, pack it in a
double walled box with plenty of infill material. We cannot be held responsible
for damage during transit so please pack your equipment
carefully.

Hints on how to send your
amplifier for repair.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Due to difficulty in sourcing obsolete components and/or the cost of
labour and parts for large non-UK made vintage HI-FI amplifiers;

We do not service modern
class D surround sound amplifiers of any wattage.

We
no longer repair vintage amplifiers over 100 watts per channel into any load.
For example an amplifier capable of providing 100 watts or more into 8, or 4
ohms can no longer be serviced by us.

We do not service large four channel
quadraphonic amplifiers.

In a few isolated cases, a
repair
might require expensive replacement components such as, mains and output
transformers, sets of valves, hard
to source matched sets of power transistors and mosfets, large computer grade capacitors, and
maker-specific hardware e.g. special switches non-standard pots etc. These items
due to their cost and availability are not included in the £99.00 standard price.
